Job Title: Estimator

Location: Allenstown, NH

Reports To: Strategic Project Management

Position Overview

MRF is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing and understanding technical specifications, collaborating with engineering and sales teams, and developing accurate cost estimates for custom industrial equipment.

The Estimator will collaborate with engineering, sales, applications, and production teams to gather accurate information on materials, labor, lead times, and manufacturing processes to prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, design, testing, assembly, and subcontractor services. Additional responsibilities include maintaining vendor relationship, recording historical cost data, projecting project Estimate’s at Completion, and continuously improving estimating accuracy and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in estimating within a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial equipment environment
Experience working with ERP systems
Proficient in reading technical drawings with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred, minimum requirement of an Associate’s Degree in technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of CAD software (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD) and the ability to create drawings is a plus
Experience with custom or one-off manufacturing projects
Experience in vacuum and/or thermal processing industry

Compensation and Benefits:

On-Target Earnings (OTE) Base Salary range: $80k-$100k
Profit-sharing opportunity based on company and individual performance
